Overview:
This e-commerce solution developed for Financial Times Ltd allows users to search for both market and industry driven foreign direct investment trends reports and purchase individual copies.
Features:
The solution provides a full reports search interface, leading through to report selection, registration, and checkout, with integration into the Global Collect payment handling system. Once a user has completed payment, the selected report is dynamically generated using the report engine and delivered to the user in MS Word format with the latest data available at time of purchase.
Specification:
The application is built with Adobe ColdFusion using the Fusebox framework utilising a MS SQL Server database. The system contains a bespoke e-commerce implementation to allow online purchase of reports and integrates with the visual basic report generator for creation and delivery of reports.
